VMS Boys Lacrosse beat Battle Mountain 8-4 last night at BMHS in front of the biggest crowd this year, earning the team its second Western Conference title. Next stop? The playoffs! VMS will play either Tuesday or Wednesday next week depending on their playoff seed. Before last night’s game, VMS was ranked No. 8 in the rating-percentage index, 8th in maxpreps.com, and 7th in the CHSAA Coaches Poll, the three factors used to determine seeding.
Mason Geller had one goal and Becker Dienst had two. Junior Peter Hughes had a hat trick in the first quarter and Carter Large had two. Congratulations VMS Boys Lacrosse!!
