Program: Arts- Fame!
The story is about a diverse group of gifted students pursuing their dreams. More than a musical production, “Fame” promoted teamwork, instilled confidence and provided opportunities for our students to shine beyond traditional academic roles. From programming in the arts to sports to leadership to science, targeted giving allows VMS to expand student horizons and seize opportunities for learning in and out of the classroom.
Project: VMS Greenhouse
During the summer of 2014, VMS built a greenhouse classroom that that is a vital element of our K-12 science curriculum. The idea originated from the VMS parent organization, Parent Partners, in collaboration with VMS science faculty. The project was funded by generous donations from the VMS community.
Endowment: Taft Conlin ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was designed for incoming ninth grade students and provides the recipient with full tuition until graduation from VMS. It was created in Taft Conlin’s name by his parents, Dr. Louise Ingalls and Dr. Steve Conlin, as well as by contributions from the community and other members of Taft’s family.
