Flexible Tuition

Investing in Your Child's Future
Flexible Tuition is a cornerstone of our commitment to making education accessible and affordable for all families. By tailoring tuition rates to each family’s unique financial situation, Vail Mountain School ensures that a high-quality education is within reach for a wide range of students. This reflects our belief that financial constraints should not be a barrier to educational excellence. Families apply for Flexible Tuition through Clarity, a trusted financial service for independent schools nationwide. To set Flexible Tuition levels, we consider these calculations alongside each family’s unique circumstances together with the resources that Vail Mountain School’s budget allocates annually.

Here are profiles for sample families and their Flexible Tuition Levels:

*PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE SAMPLE PROFILES are all based on Middle School Tuition AND DO NOT OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE VIEW OF A FAMILy's FINANCIAL SITUATION. ASSESSING THEIR NEEDS INVOLVES CONSIDERING VARIOUS FACTORS SUCH AS INCOME, ASSETS, DEBT, TUITION OBLIGATIONS AT OTHER INSTITUTIONS, FAMILY SIZE, AND OTHER DETAILS PROVIDED IN THE APPLICATION.*

How Flexible Tuition Helps:

  • Accessible: We commit to setting a student's flexible tuition at a level that reflects each family's unique financial situation.
  • Supports Families: Helps families invest in their children's education by establishing an affordable tuition rate.
  • Considers Various Factors: Takes into account household income as well as living expenses.
  • Ensures Transparency: Sets a fair tuition level based on the detailed information provided during the application process.
