After School Care

Vail Mountain School offers daily After School Care for Lower School children for a nominal fee. Licensed by the State of Colorado as a childcare facility, we provide well-planned supervision at a reasonable charge to accommodate the demanding schedules of our families. Students play outside, make new friends, and engage their imaginations through creative activities. Run by VMS teachers and staff, it is not uncommon for Middle and Upper School friends to drop in and play too! For more information contact Jeanne Macsata.

After School Academy

The After School Academy is a K-12 enrichment program with opportunities to explore such things as dance, STEAM projects, knitting, mountain biking, world languages and culture, baking, climbing wall technique, yoga, newspaper writing, art, 3-D design/printing, Crazy 8’s math, study skills, mindfulness, or building with Legos, to name just a few. Five different sessions are held throughout the school year, each with different activities for various age groups. The program runs daily except on ski days.
