Vail Mountain School is a K-12, coed, independent day school in Vail, Colorado that offers a rigorous, college preparatory education. VMS is also host to more than a dozen international students hailing from from Asia and Europe. VMS is located 100 miles west of Denver and takes full advantage of our location in the Rocky Mountains by integrating outdoor education opportunities. Our program is enriched by ample opportunities for cross-age interaction, service learning and robust athletics.
