 | Summer Skills Clinic & Enrichment Tutoring Skills Clinic
Summer is a great time for new growth and VMS is proud to offer one-on-one tutoring to work through challenges or build on existing strengths. Designed for students with learning differences, skills tutoring consists of specialized one-on-one sessions with teachers who are trained in the Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell multi-sensory methodologies. Schedules are based on student needs and include pre-and-post assessments, development of an action/learning plan for the student, daily session notes for parents, and an end-of-summer comprehensive tutor report.
Enrichment Sessions
Enrichment tutoring provides one-on-one, advanced learning to challenge a child’s strength in a given area, or explore a new-found interest. Exercises are designed and tailored to student interests. Tutoring can be arranged in nearly any subject.
Schedule and Pricing
Both skills and enrichment tutoring are offered for students who will be entering Kindergarten-eighth grades in August. Sessions are offered weekdays from June 10- August 2, with specific schedules determined by the goals and needs of the student. The cost is $60/hour.
